We are delighted to announce that HIP! National Plumbing Apprentice of the Year 2014 will be judged by the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE). Founded in 1906, CIPHE is the professional body for the UK plumbing and heating industry.  
Tony Kite 
TonyKiteTony started working in the plumbing industry in 1966, serving a five-year apprenticeship, followed by an HNC in Building Construction.
1978, Tony took a position at Warley College (now known as Sandwell College), in Birmingham, as a Plumbing Lecturer. His further education career spanned for thirty years which included setting up three gas centres and three plumbing centres over various sites. At one point his college had 500 students from level 1 leading up to level 3 City Guilds. During Tony's 30 educational years, he has observed competitions as an examiner at the National Building Exhibition, and local colleges & shows around the Midlands area. He has also helped steward various competitions.
Currently retired from full time education, Tony now offers part time services for assessing, and Internal Verification to local centres around the Midlands area which keeps him 'ahead of the game' with the educational process of Plumbing, Gas and Oil.
