GROHE to clean up at Tough Mudder

no comments

GROHE is teaming up with Tough Mudder for the rest of the year as the event’s official shower partner, kicking off with two major events this autumn. Tough Mudder is an endurance event series featuring mud runs and world-class obstacles, with teamwork, fun and personal achievement at its core.

GROHE is using the partnership to launch its #ShowerofChampions campaign. Muddy participants can expect a shower selfie wall on-site as well as a takeover of the Augustus Gloop obstacle on-course.

Ebru Bircan, marketing activation manager at GROHE UK, said: “GROHE is unleashing its fun side in a way you have never seen before. We will be the first brand in the kitchen and bathroom industry to partner with Tough Mudder. This new and exciting partnership provides us with the perfect platform to strengthen brand awareness amongst an audience of go-getters, high achievers and adrenaline junkies. If there is one audience that will be grateful for a high-quality shower it’s the ‘mudder’ community.”

GROHE will sponsor the iconic Augustus Gloop obstacle at the upcoming London South event (21-22 September), which will see participants take on a 10-mile challenge. This will be followed by the Tough Mudder Urban 5k event in Clapham Common (4-5 October). Participants at each event will take on epic obstacles before indulging in festival-style celebrations in the Mudder Village.

GROHE will assemble its own #ShowerSquad team for the events made up of enthusiastic staff, retailers and customers. The mixed-ability teams of keen novices ready to step up to the challenge and weekend-adrenaline junkies looking to push themselves will take on Tough Mudder with one goal in mind – supporting each other through teamwork. Follow their journey and all the action in the lead up to the events on GROHE UK’s social media channels.

Are you up to the challenge? GROHE will also be running giveaways for lucky followers and their #ShowerSquad to take on Tough Mudder. Follow #ShowerofChampions for updates.
