HIP

Learner of the Month

The only magazine for Plumbing & Heating Students and Apprentices

We’re shaking up the format of the HIP Learner of the Month award, starting from May 2020.

The award, which is open to full-time learners and apprentices, aims to celebrate the amazing work that upcoming talent in the industry is producing.

There is usually a prize worth £100+ for the winner each month – and you will feature in our Hall of Fame and in the next issue of HIP!

How to enter

Between the 1st and 20th of a month

Tag us in a new photo of your best work on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook (search for HIP Magazine) –  and use the hashtag #HIPLOTM. Any entries later than the 20th will roll over into the following month.

Between 20th and 23rd of a month

We, along with that month’s award sponsor, will choose our favourites (up to a maximum of eight images)

One week before the end of the month

We will share these on the HIP Magazine Twitter, Instagram and Facebook pages to allow our followers, your friends, family, clients and colleagues to vote for your image.

On the last day of the month

We will reveal who has got the most votes and therefore won!

Terms & Conditions

We may ask if we can get in touch with your boss or lecturer to verify you are a student/apprentice.

There is no limit on learners entering from the same college/company.

You can enter each new month’s competition but you cannot enter the same image again.

You can submit entries from your own account, or through a college or company account if it’s made clear who is entering the award.

By entering you give us permission to repost your work if chosen in the shortlist picked by our judges.

A maximum of one image per person will be included in the final shortlist.
