Redring launches manual and auto ‘no touch’ hand wash units
Redring has unveiled a new range of instant electric hand wash units.
The range consists of two models, a push-button manually operated unit and an auto ‘no touch’ model which features infrared sensing activation technology. The auto model has an automatic 25-30 second timed delivery that makes it ideally suited for high care application and hygiene sensitive areas.
Both units are 3kW rated, very compact in size with durable white ABS casing. These hand wash units are designed to be mounted over basin, are simple to install, providing instant water heating at point of use, with no stored heated water or wasted heat energy. They also feature a separate rotary flow control for seasonal temperature adjustment.
Offering safety, comfort and complete peace of mind, Redring instant hand wash units are fully temperature stabilised with thermal cut-out for added safety protection. What’s more, the 240m swivel arm has 180° radial adjustment and integrated spray head for complete ease of use for the end-user.
Fernox launches new TF1 Omega + Filter
The filter is the latest addition to the Fernox TF1 Omega Filter range and protects the heating system with the same innovative combination of a powerful Neodymium magnet and Hydronic Particle Separation (HPS) technology.
The unique HPS cleaning method works by reducing the velocity of the suspended particles to allow the debris to settle at the bottom of the filter for quick and safe removal.
The internal HPS, magnet assembly and area of low flow within the TF1 Omega+ Filter have all been engineered to optimise the capture of system debris, while ensuring minimal loss of system pressure.
The high strength engineering grade brass filter and components are nickel plated for improved durability and resistance to a range of glycols and additives used in central heating systems.
Grant expands Aerona³ R32 heat pump range
Grant UK has announced the launch of four new models with outputs ranging from 6kW up to 17kW.
This summer, four new Aerona³ R32 inverter driven air source heat pump models will be available from Grant UK which all incorporate the more environmentally friendly R32 refrigerant.
The range will consist of 6kW, 10kW, 13kW and 17kW models. These heat pumps are not only cleaner and more sustainable working products, they are also exceptionally efficient achieving an A+++ energy rating at low temperatures such as 35°C or 45°C (new ErP labelling from September 2019).
Viega offers new Easytop ball valves designed for thick-walled steel tube systems
The new products are available in ½” to 2” sizes and with both a standard EPDM sealing element and a Megapress S version with an FKM sealing element suitable for higher temperature applications up to 140°C.
The press connection valves are quick, simple and clean to install. As with the rest of the Megapress range, the new valves feature SC-Contur technology that is proven to deliver a 100% positive leak during testing if the fitting is inadvertently unpressed. This reliable method of detecting missed connections prevents costly and time-consuming issues occurring after the installation is complete.
Elta Fans unveils new Air Design PREMA range of energy recovery units
Elta Fans’ Air Design PREMA range boasts the smallest and lightest energy recovery ventilation units on the market, which also offer peaceful performance for a comfortable indoor environment. The units work by maintaining good indoor air quality and comfortable temperature levels by efficiently transferring thermal energy from the stale air to the incoming fresh air.
The units are available in four sizes to provide an airflow ranging from 0.006 to 0.936m3/s, and are suitable for a wide range of markets and applications, from schools and offices, to restaurants, hotels, and leisure centres.
