We had a chat with Jayden Rose, the Learner of the Month for January!
The HIP Learner of the Month award celebrates students and apprentices who are passionate about the future of the plumbing & heating industry, going above and beyond in their apprenticeships to set the standards of the industry.
HIP has launched the award to recognise the efforts that students and apprentices have put into learning the trade.

Our final nominee for the January HIP Learner of the Month sponsored by @hep2o is @jr_plmbr from @barnetsouthgate! If you think Jayden should win the AirPods and Hep2O bundle, tell us why in the comments! Nominations close 4pm Monday 10th Feb. #apprentices #naw2020 #hep2o #HIPLOTM
Jayden was nominated by his mentor Jason Fairbairn (aka Mr London Plumber), and was chosen as the Learner of the Month after a week of voting and testimonials on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
The award was sponsored by Hep2O, who sent Jayden a pair of Apple AirPods and merchandise.
Our runners-up were Adam Grey from Cornwall College and James Whittaker from SGS Stroud.
Jayden, 19, was nominated for the following reason: “He shows enthusiasm every single day and is growing in confidence. He also works hard on site, which I feel is one of the hardest environments to learn your trade because you’re really in the construction community.”
