Meet October’s HIP Learner of the Month winner!
Fiona Evans won the October HIP Learner of the Month award – we caught up with her to find out what it means to win.
To enter, plumbing and heating students and apprentices must tag us in a photo of their work on social media and use #HIPLOTM. Our favourites (up to a maximum of eight) then go to a public vote at the end of the month before a winner is crowned. For full entry info, click here.
Jayden, a Level 3 apprentice at Pimlico Plumbers who studies at Choice Training in Dagenham, was August’s winner after receiving the most public votes and won a Stelrad slimline towel rail and certificate.
He said: “It feels good that people recognise my hard work and pride in plumbing.
“For my entry, I completed an unvented hot water cylinder install and did the pipework.
Jayden, 20, says he will install his prize in his own bathroom.
He plans to complete his NVQ and gas qualifications and his favourite thing about the industry is “how you can learn so much from other people – and that people enjoy helping each other.”
Jayden won the award back in January 2020 (in the previous format). Well done Jayden!
